We handle the full process with care, and we’ll attempt light restoration when possible at no charge, only quoting repair fees if a tape is physically broken. What formats do you convert?
We convert VHS, VHS-C, Hi8/Digital8, MiniDV, home-recorded DVDs, and cassette audio. We only digitize personal, non-copyrighted content and do not duplicate commercial movies or copyrighted material.
What do I receive upon completion?
MP4 files delivered by USB, external drive, or cloud (Google Drive/OneDrive). Files labeled according to any labels on tapes. For tapes without labels, we will assign a corresponding number to both the tape and the file.
How long does it take?
We complete orders in the order that we physically receive tapes. Most orders are completed within the same week, but it depends on the quantity of tapes you have and the number of orders in front of you. We can always provide an estimated time to completion!
Do you offer pickup and drop-off?
We do! Austin and surrounding areas are eligible for door pickup and return delivery for an additional fee based on distance. This may not always be available.
Can I ship my tapes if I don't live in Austin, TX?
Yes. Nationwide shipping accepted with required tracking information. Client is responsible for shipping fees to and from.
Can you fix damaged or broken tapes?
Yes. When possible, we’ll automatically apply light restoration to improve picture deterioration at no charge. If a tape is physically breaking, we can often repair it for $10 per tape. If the tape is too fragile and continues to break, we may not be able to complete the repair. You’re only charged for this service if the repair is successful.

I need my tapes converted ASAP. Do you offer expedited processing?
Yes! There is an expedited fee associated to the order ranging from $50-$100. This will be determined based on tape quantity and how soon you need them completed.
